Northern Frontrunners

There is a newly established LGBT running club called ‘Northern Frontrunners' that is now operating in Sunderland and Newcastle. The Chairman, Steven Duffy, is an established running athlete and coach in the north east. Northern Frontrunners aren't the only successful LGBT running club in the UK however they are all made up of the ‘Frontrunners' name.

The aim of the group is to provide facilities and equipment for the coaching of LGBT athletes, also to provide and host access to athletic competitions without imposing restriction on recruitment.
